Background
Cosmetics Unlimited, based in Riga, Latvia, was founded by Ieva Vina with a vision to develop and market accessible cosmetic brands for the mass and mid-market beauty sector in selected countries. Their product categories include hair care, face and body care, sun care, men's care and dental care.
Brief
Ieva approached me as she was preparing to launch her business to help plan the launch, undertake the full branding, and design and build the website.
Approach
As Cosmetics Unlimited are developing various product ranges with each their own brand identity, the identity of the mother brand needed to be clean and simplistic and able to work across all ranges. A professional look was achieved through the use of a monochrome colour palette, a fitting typeface and a brand icon as part of the logo.
